Producer's Choice Soy Energy - Biodiesel Plant
Producers’ Choice Soy Energy, while built as a 5 mm/gpy biodiesel facility, expects to double its production capacity to 10 mm/gpy within the first year of operation. Located in Moberly, MO, the investor-owned project is scheduled to produce ASTM quality biodiesel in early 2009.
Process Concepts’ management team work closely with the PCSE Board to select the optimum technology and was on hand to break ground in March 2008. The Moberly facility will utilize both soybean oil and animal fats in the feed stock mix.
In addition to the design/build consultation, Process Concepts management also took an active role in the informational meetings during the Equity Drive, when more than 300 investors committed $7 million to the project.
