Producer's Choice Soy Energy - Soy Oil Extraction Facility
Recognizing the importance to success and profitability, Producers’ Choice Soy Energy incorporated a 250-ton per day soybean crush operation with its plant in north central Missouri. With guidance from Process Concepts management, PCSE selected a mechanical extrusion technology to utilize regionally-grown beans and benefit from the revenue stream generated by the crush plant.
Process Concepts entered into an agreement in March 2008 to build the crush adjacent to the the biodiesel plant site, leading to national recognition by Biodiesel Magazine – Sept. 2008 as one of the first collocation facilities in the Midwest United States.
At completion, the crush will reduce feed stock costs for the biodiesel processing and be a substantial source of high-nutrient bean meal.
